Uncle Dood’s Features a Unique Offering on National Donut Day

Friday, June 3rd is National Donut Day, and for me, there's only one place to celebrate - Uncle Dood's in Toms River.

According to Dood's Facebook page, for National Donut Day, they will be featuring a creation called "Dirty Dood." It's their spice cake donut split and filled with Sloppy Joe meat. Uncle Dood's calls it their take on a tradition Sloppy Joe slider. You can grab one (while they last) for $3.75 a piece.

Of course, you can always celebrate the day with one of Uncle Dood's award winning donuts from their June menu.

There are a few that I'm going to have to try:

Lemon 3.14 - Lemon icing with lemon snap cookie crumbles and a lemon filling

Hopper - Mint icing with ice cream cake crunch

Carmel Chai - Carmel icing with spicy chai tea sugar
