Two healthcare systems in South Jersey are about to get a whole lot bigger.

Both expansions will take place in Gloucester County, according to NJ.com.

Inspira Health Network is scheduled to open a brand new, $350 million dollar facility in November of next year. The current Inspira Woodbury will eventually operate under the name Inspira Mullica Hill. The final steel beam of the northeast corner of the hospital was installed last week.

Then last month in Washington Township, Jefferson Hospital began construction on phase one of it's $250 million dollar expansion project, and will include a seven-floor patient tower and an eight-level parking garage. The new Jeff Hospital Washington Twp. in on track to be fully operational by 2021.
