Two people from Cumberland County were killed and four others, including two children under the age of five, were critically injured in a crash in Vineland Sunday night.

According to NJ.com, a man from Vineland was traveling east on Almond Road when, according to the Vineland Police Department, he failed to stop at the intersection with Delsea Drive. As he did, he crashed into a SUV being driven by 30-year-old Iban Garcia-Ruiz of Bridgeton. Garcia-Ruiz and his passenger, 32-year-old Elisa Perez-Hernandez of Bridgeton, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Published reports say there were two children in the backseat of the SUV, a 5-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy. Police say they both suffered serious injuries and they are both in critical condition at Cooper Hospital in Camden.

The driver that failed to stop and his passenger, a man from Vineland, are also both in critical condition at that same hospital.
