
Two injured in shooting outside PNC Bank Arts Center
Two people were seriously injured during a shooting while a concert was taking place at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel Monday night.
State Police are still searching for a lone shooter in the woods surrounding the venue. They are also asking for witnesses and anyone with cell phone video to contact them at 732-441-4550 or via Twitter @NJSP.
The shooting took place outside the venue, according to New Jersey State Police who say two individuals were wounded and transported to hospitals via medivac helicopter. They remain in critical condition.
According to the venue's website, hip hop artists J. Cole, Big Sean, YG & Jeremih were performing Monday as part of the Forest Hill Drive tour which is scheduled to hit Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.
"As a precaution, over 50 officers checked the entire area, assisted by helicopters and K-9's, and found no threats within Holmdel, and it is believed that the suspect involved left the area," Hinds' statement said. "Please remember that this is an active investigation being conducted by the New Jersey State Police and all leads are being followed. If more information is released, it will be forwarded."
