
Tool Discounter, Harbor Freight is Coming to Cape May County, NJ.
Cape May County's lineup of major retail outlets is adding another member with the arrival of Harbor Freight Tools.
The 40-year-old, $4 billion national tool retailer is hiring employees and plans to open in Rio Grande's Village Shopping Center as soon as final inspections are complete.
Harbor Freight Tools has over 1250 stores in 48 states across the country and is opening a new location every week, according to the company.
Founded in California in 1977, Harbor Freight Tools refers to itself as a leading discount tool retailer in the U.S., selling high-quality tools at low prices. The stores sell automotive, air and power tools, shop equipment, and hand tools.
Harbor Freight Tools has a 15,000-square-foot store on the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic County.
The retailer will be a welcome arrival for Middle Township's Village Shopping Center, which has lost Office Depot and Spirit Halloween stores in recent years.
