This man disliked presidential debates he said he would rather die, and then actually did.

Now, it's never funny when someone passes away - someone's obituary on the other hand is a different story.

The third and final presidential debate happened last night, so when I read a headline saying "Pennsylvania Man Said He’d Rather Die Than Watch The Debate. Then He Did Just That," I couldn't stop laughing!

George Norman Davis reportedly died on September 26, shortly after the first presidential debate.

This man who served in the U.S. Army, "liked country music, NASCAR, hunting, fishing,' an all-around American man strongly disliked debates.

So, much so he apparently said he would rather die than watch another one! Imagine if he stuck around for the final two?! He would've lost his mind!

Here's an excerpt from the obituary cleverly written by his family:

"Apparently he meant it when he said he would rather die than have to watch the presidential debate. At least he is no longer obligated to vote, firmly believing regardless of the outcome, the nation is going someplace in a handbasket and he would rather travel in the opposite direction."

Check out George's obituary here, and may he rest in peace - at least he doesn't have to vote, amirite?
