These Parts Of The Movie ‘Shazam!’ Are Set In Philly
DC's newest superhero movie Shazam! is set in Philadelphia and includes some footage of different locations in the city itself.
According to phillyvoice, the film was shot primarily in Canada, at a variety of locations that include Pinewood Toronto Studios and the University of Toronto.
But with all that being said, there are some scenes that feature famous Philly landmarks and scenery.
Some of the famous Philly things you'll see in the movie are the LOVE sculpture, the "Rocky" steps in front of the art museum, and you'll even see a character with a bag from Geno's Steaks!
How cool is that? I love when I see local things featured in movies. People from other parts of the country, or even the world, might not realize what these features are or where they come from, but us locals can pick out the Philly-related aspects right away!
