This is THE Hardest Town to Find Parking in South Jersey During Summer
A trip to this South Jersey town sounds like a great idea, until you get there and spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to find a place to park!
Now, what you wanted to be a FUN day begins with FRUSTRATION. Especially if it's that parallel variety of parking you seek.
It's taxing to circle block after block, up and down streets, hoping you'll see a free spot or frantically waiting for someone to free one up. It's enough to make you want to quit it and go home.
But what South Jersey towns is it the hardest to find parking in during the summer months? Haddonfield? Ventnor, perhaps. We asked, you answered.
Most of your responses were the Jersey Shore towns, ONE being the worst to park above all others, which we'll share below. But, first, some others that got mentioned.
Margate
I'm in agreement with Carol. Personally, I find it the hardest to find parking in Margate. However, there's another shore town that got mentioned most. Keep reading to find out.
Sea Isle City
Sea Isle City got mentioned and can be troublesome, especially on Landis Ave. and especially around bars like Ocean Drive.
Wildwood
Wildwood was a close second to the town you think is hardest to park in, and we agree, especially near the boardwalk or Morey's Piers at Schellenger Ave.
And, finally...the #1 hardest town to park in during summer, according to you:
Ocean City
We've all been there. Up and down Asbury Ave. Up and down Central. Up and down Wesley, and all the number streets in between. From about 5th street to 20th during summer, Ocean City is CROWDED. Finding a parking spot, especially near the beach and boardwalk is like finding gold.
Having said THAT. Ocean City offers numerous parking lots if you want to forgo street parking, but you will have to reach into your pocket to pay for it. Also, Ocean City now runs a jitney throughout town, so IF you have to park farther away than you'd like, you have an option to get closer to your destination without having to walk the whole way.
So, did we get this right? What other South Jersey towns do you find it hard to park in during summer? Let us know in the comments below.
