Thanksgiving Debate: How to Pronounce the Word ‘Pecan’ [POLL]

Ah, the insipid debates. Tomato (toe-may-toe, tuh-mah-toe). Potato (poe-tay-toe, puh-tah-toe). Vase (v-aze, v-ah-z). So, when it comes to pronouncing the word 'pecan', how do YOU say it?

Undoubtedly, there will be two kinds of families on Thanksgiving. Those who say pee-can, and those who say pi-kahn. Me? I split the difference and say 'pee-kahn'.

I've actually never had this conversation with my own family, though. So, it may be something I bring up this year.
