Temple University is at it again winning its SECOND Guinness World Record...this time in socks?

I had to double check that information, but as Philly Voice reports it's the truth!

During a charity drive on Monday Oct. 9, Temple collected 2,798 pairs of socks within an 8-hour window to benefit the Joy of Sox. As a result, they broke a Guinness World Record in collecting socks:

The Joy of Sox is a Philly based organization that gives socks to the homeless, so it's amazing to see Temple break a world record for a good cause!

The previous winner, Kaiser Permanente in San Diego collected 2,459 in the same 8-hour window.

As mentioned earlier, this marks the second Guinness World Record for the university. Last year, the broke the record for most sandwiches made in an hour making 49,100 sandwiches.

Keep up doing good, and breaking records Temple!
