You can pay your respects today to Marlton's own Christina Grimmie. The singer, who rose to fame on season 6 of NBC's The Voice and was murdered last week, was laid to rest in a private ceremony this morning, but fans are welcome to attend a public memorial service this afternoon.

It was a solemn evening in Marlton Monday night as friends, family, and members of the community gathered to honor the life of slain musician Christina Grimmie.

The 'Voice' coach, who mentored Christina Grimmie during the show's sixth season in 2014, will pay for the singer's funeral according to her brother, Marcus.

A candlelight vigil will be held in honor of the slain rising pop star, Christina Grimmie, at her hometown in Evesham Township.

Christina Grimmie had a very intense night last night.  The 20-year old Marlton, New Jersey native waited nearly the entire episode of NBC's The Voice to hear if she'd stay alive in the competition and move onto the Top 3.  And the outcome was in her favor.
