Spirited a performance though Kanye West gave at this past weekend’s SNL under host Melissa McCarthy, the always-tempestuous artist appeared visibly upset in his brief promo appearances. There may have been more to that story than West’s usual dour expression however, as reports claim Kanye very nearly bailed last-minute over stress.

Only two SNL outings will occupy February 2016 between Larry David and Melissa McCarthy, and March 5 will pick up the torch with another four-timer. Hail, Caesar! star Jonah Hill will return to the SNL stage, joined by musical guest Future.

We’ve seen Jimmy Fallon take on the likes of Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and House of Cards, but with Empire Season 2 drip-dropping its FOX premiere tomorrow night, Fallon was bound to take the throne. If you ask me, the REAL entertainment came AFTER the Super Bowl. Jimmy Fallon hosted a special post-game edition of The Tonight Show, which featured a Brady Bunch-like music video of he, The Roots, and famous friends like Ariana Grande and Sam Smith covering Queen's anthem 'We Are the Champions'.

Once the epic Super Bowl was over, the competition continued in the form of a Lip Sync battle!

Following a 31-year absence, Eddie Murphy will reportedly return to ‘SNL’ to ring in the NBC sketch comedy legend’s 40th anniversary.
