Talk about an amazing rescue! This was anything but a typical day at the beach. A big thank you goes out to this brave beach-goer who rescued a 3 foot sand shark with his bare hands in Beach Haven on Long Beach Island over the weekend...

One of my colleagues from Poughkeepsie, NY thought he was going to enjoy a relaxing day on the sand in Beach Haven. What he ended up witnessing was incredible.

One thing the Jersey Shore doesn't lack is scenery.  What town do you think is most easy on the eyes?  Expedia Viewfinder has singled one Jersey Shore town out for being awesome.

Imagine walking your dog on the beach after a nor'easter and finding a bottle in the sand with a note in it!  That's what happened to Vince Stango of North Beach.

It was hard to imagine, on such a beautiful Labor Day Weekend at the Jersey Shore, that Tropical Storm Hermine was threatening just off the coast. My family and I were on LBI and took a drive up to Barnegat Light to see how the conditions were.

Can you imagine! Would you want to know if a SHARK is trailing you while you were wind surfing off Barnegat Light?

Soon our beaches will be overrun. I caught word of a "secret beach" not too many are aware of...until now.

UPDATE: The 3,500-pound great white, known as Mary Lee was recorded Friday morning just north of Brigantine. That's according to the nonprofit OCEARCH.
