Johnny Gaudreau

John Tortorella invited Guy Gaudreau, father of the late Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, to assist at training camp on Monday. There is hope that Gaudreau can join the Flyers more in the future.

Johnny and his brother Matthew were laid to rest during a funeral at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Media, Pa. Monday that was private but live streamed by Johnny's team, the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Flyers will buy out forward Oskar Lindblom, who was set to enter the final year of a three-year deal in the 2022-23 season, placing him on conditional waivers on Tuesday afternoon. His current cap hit was $3 million and the buyout saves the Flyers $3.33 million toward the cap.
