Student Poses Fake Instagram Threat on Millville High School
A threat made from a fake Instagram account has got one student in serious trouble, according to police.
Police Lt. Ross Hoffman said the targeted school was Millville Senior High School and the post was of two pictures of the school with a caption that read, “I’m coming,” with a coffin emoji at the end of it.
Fortunately though police say that there is no threat towards the school, students, or staff.
On Tuesday the 17 year-old high school student was charged with juvenile offenses, one of creating a false public alarm and another with terroristic threats. The troubled student has since been released but is not off the hook just yet. She has to attend a juvenile court date that is still pending.
But just to be safe the principal said police will still be present in the school over the next couple of days.
