Starbucks Introduces Limited-Edition Birthday Cake Frappucino
What was the best way for Starbucks to celebrate the 20th birthday of it's Frappucino? Create one flavored like birthday cake, duh!
You can enjoy the limited-edition flavor from now through March 30.
BACKSTORY: The Starbucks Frappucino drink was born of a desire to quench thirst in Los Angeles in the hot summer of 1995, according to the company's digital team. But Sbux does admit the treat was inspired by similar blended drinks found at smaller coffee shops.
So what's in the Birthday Cake Frappuccino? Vanilla bean and hazelnut, topped with raspberry-infused whipped cream. The drink's calorie count is approximately 400 calories.
Best of all, the whipped cream is pink.
