South Jersey Man Runs 100 Miles for Children’s Cancer Charity
Running for a cause is always admirable, especially for children's cancer.
Richard McCleary, an Ocean City resident that works as a Applebee’s Manager in Manahawkin, will start his 100 mile run from Cape May Point, ending at Applebee's the following day starting on Saturday, November 3.
The run is to benefit Ocean of Love, a charity for children with cancer in Ocean County.
$6,500 for Ocean of Love has been raised already on his GoFundMe page, but is looking for more.
"I hope that we can count on your generosity for this amazing charity. Any donations will be greatly appreciated," McCleary said on his page.
The Manahawkin Applebee's will be celebrating his finish with live music, drink specials and half-priced appetizers. You can also make donations to the charity there as well in addition to his GoFundMe page.
