This furry feline lives to see another day!
A small kitten was found stuck in a storm drain in Whiting that was in need of some desperate rescuing.
On Tuesday, Whiting Fire Company was dispatched to Quality Medical Transport. The crew on the scene were able to open up the storm drain and jump in to save the cute kitten.
The cat was able to be rescued without any difficulty or getting harmed.
An employee of Quality Medical quickly adopted the kitten and is reportedly doing well, Whiting firefighters say.
