Several union members of the PBA Local 231 visited Carter's home Friday, some staying in their cars holding signs with supportive, 'get well' messages, other delivering trays of food to the family's doorstep, Courier Post reports.

It's clear that Carter is appreciated and missed by those who know and love him. Kudos to PBA Local 231.
