The man, a biomedical engineering professor, was reportedly exposed to COVID-19 late last month, but not on campus. He is self-quarantining, according to Patch.com, and is doing well.

Those whom the professor had close contact have been made aware of the situation.

Hundreds of schools all over the state have begun cancelling classes in an effort to slow the spread of coronavirus, and the Centers for Disease Control recently issued recommendations for cancelling any event involving 50 or more people for the next 8 weeks.
