Rocket Warhead Found On Atlantic City Beach

We've heard of strange things found on the beach---but this has to top it all.According to the Press of Atlantic City, Army Corps of Engineers uncovered a 2.75-inch rocket warhead around 2:30 p.m. Saturday while conducting a beach replenishment project in the area of New Hampshire Avenue.

Talk about strange things you've found on the beach.  Researchers say they don't know where the warhead came from, or if it was still alive.  That makes us all feel better right?  Don't worry, it gets better:

According to NBC Philly, The discovery of such ordnance is a common occurrence along New Jersey's coast, due in large part to military activity that occurred during the Revolutionary War and both world wars.

HA!  Of course, no big deal.
