Nobu, the company that was founded by Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro, and businessman Meir Teper, is expanding to Atlantic City and opening a hotel and restaurant at Caesars.

The Nobu Hotel and restaurant is projected to open in the summer of 2022 inside Caesars Atlantic City.

Nobu Matsuhisa is a Japanese celebrity chef and restaurateur known for his fusion cuisine, blending traditional Japanese dishes with Peruvian ingredients. He has restaurants bearing his name in several countries. There are also 13 Nobu hotels in the U.S. and around the world.

Caesars Entertainment is joining with Nobu Hospitality for a project to be called Nobu Hotel Atlantic City. The development, including a Nobu restaurant, is part of a $400 million investment Caesars Entertainment is making in Atlantic City over the next three years.

Tuesday's announcement extends the partnership between Caesars Entertainment and Nobu Hospitality by adding two new Nobu Hotels and restaurants at Harrah’s New Orleans and Caesars Atlantic City, a Nobu restaurant at Paris Las Vegas, and a refresh of the first Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace Las Vegas.

According to a release, the Nobu Hotel and restaurant at Caesars Atlantic City is part of Caesars’ $400 million investment into the property by 2023. The improvements include high-end remodeled room towers and suites, freshly appointed interior design elements, and enhancements to the casinos' gaming floors.

Caesars is hoping that the debut of Nobu Hotel Atlantic City will help revitalize their Boardwalk location and raise the hospitality bar by introducing world-class experiences to the market.
