Referee Pulls Gun On Team At Soccer Match

Who says soccer isn't a dangerous sport?

This happened at a match in Brazil, where a soccer referee pulled a large handgun out of his shorts when an argument erupted during the game.

I want to know how he kept his shorts up with such a heater in his britches.

The pistol packin' referee, Gabriel Murta, was "assaulted" by members of one of the teams before he whipped out his weapon, according to official reports.

It turns out that Murta's also a cop, so he's been trained to use his piece.

Let it be noted that he's being required to submit to a psychiatric evaluation to determine whether he's fit to continue officiating...not to have a GUN...but to keep officiating.
