Rare Dime-Sized Jellyfish Found in Barnegat Bay

A New Jersey fisherman may have discovered a rare type of jellyfish in the Barnegat Bay area.

NBC10 Philadelphia says that this dime-sized creature has a potent sting that require medical attention immediately. Researchers also mention this is the first appearance of this kind of jellyfish in New Jersey. It may have been brought down from coastal currents, and there's a possibility of more in the area.
