Rachel McAdams Audition for The Notebook Will Bring You to Tears [VIDEO]

The movie The Notebook has a very profound affect on me.  Not just in an average chick flick kind of way, but so gut-wrenching that if I even see it on the television guide my stomach gets butterflies. There were just too many parallels to my own life at that time. I loved it, but I can NEVER watch that film again.  And Rachel McAdams' recently unearthed Notebook audition tape is another reason why.  Even THIS brought me to tears. Happy Throwback Thursday!

I mean, I walked out of that movie theater heaving, sobbing, crying, with snot crusted to my sweatshirt sleeve. It was a completely traumatic experience, lol. But Rachel is such a doll. She was clearly the right girl for the role. And had such good chemistry with Ryan Gosling, even before a single scene was shot.
