Prosecutor: Vineland, NJ, Man Wanted for Murder Arrested
Authorities in Cumberland County say a man from Vineland who was wanted for murder has been arrested.
29-year-old Brandon Dennis was arrested Friday morning in Bridgeton, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office.
On Saturday, October 23rd, authorities say 32-year-old Patrick Trotter of Penns Grove was shot and killed in the 500 block of West Main Street in Millville.
An investigation lead to Dennis being named a suspect and he was charged with murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, aggravated assault, certain persons, criminal mischief, burglary, desecration, and terroristic threats, obstruction, and hindering apprehension.
Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae says members of the U.S. Marshall’s Service located Dennis in Bridgeton Friday morning and he was taken into custody.
Dennis is currently being held in the Cumberland County Jail pending court procedures.
