Pier 1 Imports is calling it quits for good after being in business for nearly 60 years according to a report from the NY Post.

The home goods retailer which first opened in 1962,  got off to a rocky start in 2020 by filing for bankruptcy and closing 450 stores with four locations in New Jersey including East Hanover, Edgewater, Paramus, and Cape May Court House.

Now all 540 Pier 1 stores will close their doors permanently including the Somers Point, Millville, and Deptford Township locations.
