Pedestrian Struck & Killed on Rt 9 in Northfield Monday Night
6ABC is reporting that Northfield Police are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian.
Police were called to the scene on Route 9, in front of the Center Point Plaza near Banning Avenue around 9 p.m. Monday according to the news report.
Police say the driver of an SUV struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian died at the scene. Northfield Police say that the driver of the striking vehicle remained on the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
Contacted Tuesday morning, Northfield Police said they would have more information after 8 am.
