It's the phone call the other four members of NSYNC (and fans all over the world) have waited twelve years for.  When Justin Timberlake steps on the stage of the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday to accept the Video Vanguard Award, he'll reportedly call on his former boy band for moral support.

Details are slowly leaking from staffers behind the scene of this year's awards ceremony, which will honor Timberlake for his body of music video work and the contributions he's made to his industry. Reportedly several sources at MTV are claiming that not only will Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone and JC Chasez help honor Justin, they'll be performing with the singer when he takes the stage.

As a solo artist Justin Timberlake has released three platinum albums spawning multiple chart-topping hits.  NSYNC's last effort Celebrity was released back in 2001.

You might wanna set the DVR for this.  I do believe a little 'Bye Bye Bye' is in order, and frankly, long overdue.

The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards air live from Brooklyn's Barclays Center this Sunday, August 25th on MTV.
