Northfield Coach is Remembered Tonight
The community of Northfield will honor their fallen coach tonight.
Jimmy Hoopes had served for years as a football coach for Northfield's Pee-Wee division in the Atlantic County Jr. Football League. Hoopes recently passed away, leaving behind a hole in the town's football program. Hoopes was considered a mentor to many young men in Northfield.
A salute to Coach Hoopes will take place tonight at 7, inviting current and past players to gather and "walk the bases" in honor of a man who will be missed.
