You can skip the fancy gifts and elaborate meals. It turns out all your mom really wants on Mother's Day is to hear your voice.

The researchers at Ooma, a leading provider of VoIP phones and smart home security systems, asked American mothers how they most like to be celebrated by the children they raised. 35% say a phone call makes the perfect gift, while only 25% prefer to receive an actual present. The majority of moms just want to connect with family.

Interestingly, flowers are the least desired gift. Guess I'll be keeping those tulips for myself, lol.
