New Jersey Pizzeria Makes Effort to Reunite Lost Pets with Their Owners
Fur real! A pizzeria in New Jersey has begun putting photos of lost pets on top of their pizza boxes in hopes of reuniting them with their owners.
Angelo's Pizza in Matawan got the idea after hearing about the owner of a cat named Hazel, who ran away from home during a nasty storm last November, came into the shop looking for help, 6abc.com reports.
Each pizza box that goes out will now feature a flyer of a missing pet.
Luckily, Hazel the Cat was found. But Angelo's owner John Sanfratello says at least five more pet owners have since asked for help being reunited with their own lost fur babies.
It certainly is a great way to get the public's attention! Great job, John!
