My Peanut Butter and Jelly Love Poem

Today is National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day! To celebrate one of the world's most perfect pairing EVER, I've written a poem.

Am I Walt Whitman? No. Lol. But I do love me some PB&J.

Ode to PB & J

Hello, peanut butter and jelly
so happy you make my belly!
You're such a favorite treat
whether crunchy or all creamy and sweet!
Completely delicious
and conveniently nutritious.
Your taste is evergreen
the easiest lunch I've ever seen.
Never will you spoil in the sun
for a picnic, school trip or just because, you're so fun.
More perfectly paired than carrots and peas
and even the birds and the honeybees.
So satisfying
without hardly trying.
Even as I do, you'll never grow old
and that's why from now till forever on PB&J I'm sold!
