Mom Busts NJ Lifeguard on Phone

Some people just cannot stay off their phones...but a LIFEGUARD should NOT be one of those people!

I was a lifeguard and I know how important it is to be vigilant when on duty. People can be injured or even die if a lifeguard is not paying attention. Texting or scrolling on your phone has no place in the lifeguard stand.

A New Jersey mother noticed the guard on his phone and how he was not paying any attention to those on the beach. She even walked up to him and took his picture - without him even noticing!

According to News 12, the lifeguard was disciplined for his actions.
