Millville, NJ to Open 2022 Football Season at Battle at the Beach

The Battle at the Beach football weekend just signed a tremendous match up, which will feature Group IV champion, Millville Thunderbolts, taking on Pennsylvania power, Thomas Jefferson.

The game will take place on Sunday August 28 at Ocean City high school and has been added to an already loaded lineup which was announced back in December.

The three-day event, which is played at Ocean City High School's Carey Stadium, will be in its second season, kicking off the 2022 season. It is being hosted by the West Jersey Football Coaches Association for the second straight season.

Millville returns some of the top talent in South Jersey and should be in contention for another Group IV title with a talent group of wide receives back including, Lotzeir Brooks and Ta’ron Haile, both are getting Division I offers.
