Local Teen Walks for MS in Honor of Family Friend [AUDIO]
17-year old Austin Decker has been walking to support those stricken with multiple sclerosis since he was 10. Sunday, his team Miss Betty's Angels will step towards a cure at an event taking place in Washington Township.
I spoke with Austin by phone today about Miss Betty's Angels. A team he founded in honor of an Aunt's neighbor Betty, a single mom diagnosed with MS several years ago.
Austin, who lives in my hometown of Erial in Gloucester Township and attends Timber Creek High School has helped organize several fundraisers which include a recent basket auction that raised more than $1,700 for Miss Betty's Angels.
Sunday, May 5th, Miss Betty's Angels will take part in a Multiple Sclerosis walk for a cure at Washington Lake Park. Those interested in supporting the cause can find the walk:
