Little Egg Harbor pair arrested for dealing meth/heroin out of residence
Two Little Egg Harbor residents have been arrested following a two-month multi-law enforcement agency investigation into illegal drug activity in southern Ocean County, announced Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer.
Detectives learned that a Little Egg Harbor Township residence was being used to store and distribute quantities of Methamphetamine and Heroin.
Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force Detectives along with the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team and Little Egg Harbor Police Drug Enforcement Unit executed a no-knock search warrant at the residence.
As a result, Detectives seized approximately eighteen grams of Methamphetamine and two grams of Heroin.
John Sharpe, 35, of Little Egg Harbor, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine in an Amount Greater than One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Sharpe was initially lodged in the Ocean County Jail and then released per New Jersey Bail Reform.
Tara Giberson, 34, also of Little Egg Harbor, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine in an Amount Greater than One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Heroin in violation and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Giberson is currently lodged in the Ocean County Jail on an unrelated pending matter.
