Holy Spirit High In Absecon, NJ Introduces Athletics Film Room
This is the brainchild of Steve Normane, the Director of Athletics at Holy Spirit High School in Absecon, New Jersey.
Holy Spirit has consistently excelled in both academics and athletics … especially considering the size of its student population.
Normane’s idea was to implement a film room, which is now available to all of the various athletic programs at Holy Spirit High School.
Normane is "proud to say that this project cost our department a grand total of zero dollars!" Everything was donated!” said Norman.
The contributions came from The Petrosh Company, who donated 60 chairs.
Holy Spirit High also received a donation of a 75-inch television.
Coach AJ Russo donated his time and talents to set-up all of the technology requirements for the new film room.
Normane also thanked the Holy Spirit High School Science Department for sharing their classroom space to help make the new film room possible.
The Holy Spirit High film room has seats for 60 viewers, a 75-inch smart television to watch film, and a computer hookup which will allow teams to pull film directly from the internet to the television.
The annual Atlantic City High School versus Holy Spirit High Thanksgiving Day football game is set for Thursday, November 23, 2023 at Dr. Jack Eisenstein Stadium at Atlantic City High School.
The game alternates back-and-forth between the two high schools to determine the home site each year.
I will be hosting a 2-hour on-air special (along with a great guest lineup) about this very special, nearly 100-year rivalry game on Monday, November 21, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:06 a.m. on WPG Talk Radio 95.5
