The Galloway Township Police Department is asking for help locating an armed and dangerous stabbing suspect.

42-year-old Charles D. Cook III of Galloway is facing robbery, aggravated assault, and weapon-related charges.

On Tuesday, December 12th, officers responded to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center-Mainland Division in reference to a patient with multiple stab wounds.

The victim, a 48-year-old man from Galloway Township, told police he was attempting to meet with an acquaintance at a local motel when an unknown man approached him from a wooded area.

The suspect approached the victim, brandished a knife, and demanded money. A physical altercation ensued, which resulted in the victim suffering stab wounds to his face and arm.

An investigation identified Cook as a suspect.

Do Not Approach

Cook should not be approached as he is considered both armed and dangerous.

The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
