Was it you? Lucky lottery player in Camden County, NJ, just won $2 million
While not hitting the big Powerball jackpot Wednesday night, one lottery player in South Jersey is still having a pretty darn good day.
You would be, too, if you just won $2 million.
How it Happened
Officials with the New Jersey Lottery said one Powerball ticket sold in the Garden State matched all five white balls drawn on Wednesday night, February 28th, making that person $1 million richer.
Even better, that ticket was purchased with the Power Play option, which doubled the prize to $2 million.
Not a bad investment!
Winning Numbers
Those winning numbers were 16, 26, 29, 38, and 50. The Red Power Ball number was 06; the Power Play was 2X.
Lucky Location
That winning ticket was sold at Smoker’s Outlet on West Clements Bridge Road in Runnemede, Camden County.
Nearly 26,000 New Jersey Powerball players took home an estimated $134,157 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200 Wednesday night.
The Powerball jackpot now stands at $443 million for the Saturday, March 2nd, drawing.
