Busy Bridge in Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, Closing For 3 Months

Residents in and around Egg Harbor Township are going to have to plan ahead: a busy bridge is closing for three months.

Officials with Atlantic County say starting Monday, September 18th, Bevis Mill Road will be closed between the intersection of School House Lane and Robert Best Road for the reconstruction and replacement of the Lakes Creek Bridge.

The road will be closed around the clock, however, local residents and businesses will have access to their properties.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and allow extra time.

Stone Harbor bridge closing

Also starting on Monday, the 96th Street Bridge in and out of Stone Harbor will be closed for overnight road work.

That span will be closed Monday through Thursday nights, September 18th through 21st, from 8 PM to 6 AM. A detour will be posted.
