I'm going start off by saying I've been plowing snow for the past 30 years. Galloway Township Public Works really did an amazing job! Not just this storm but the storm before it. A lot of people don't understand how much time labor and hard work goes into doing this job. Just remember when you're out in a blizzard conditions whether it be daylight or pitch dark and you're trying to maneuver around live powerlines down trees, and trees falling around you as you're driving these men and women need to go home to their families as well, said Purdy.

Most people dont see it from the front line and what goes into the planning and doing the job. From the Public Works to the police department fire department EMS I want to say thank you folks. It is not an easy job. As other counties and municipality and cities ran out of salt and broken equipment. Galloway Township had neither of that. I know what it takes from being a previous Mayor it is not easy, said Purdy.
