Atlantic City Homeless Prevention & Reentry Teams
Are a creation of Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small and they will manage this public event.
Small created the first-ever cabinet level (city) department to focus on the underserved population in Atlantic City.
Atlantic City Homelessness Issue
Is a complex one, as Atlantic City has a local homelessness issue to manage … coupled with the fact that cities throughout the state routinely send their homeless populations to Atlantic City.
This is because both the City of Atlantic City and the County of Atlantic do a great job providing various social services to the underserved.
Atlantic County/Atlantic City social services are so successful that Atlantic City also has people from outside of the state of New Jersey come here for the well managed programs that are available.
