Ron Bailey Statement
Response to Mayor Small's Personal Attacks
Yesterday, on the Scott Chronic Show, Mayor Marty Small chose to belittle me by calling me an "idiot," "uneducated," and "unqualified" to serve as a City Council member. Let's set the record straight: for the last 20 years, I have proudly served this community as an Emergency Medical Technician, responding to emergencies and saving lives. While I was out in the streets helping people in their most critical moments, Mayor Small has spent those same 20 years in politics — and unfortunately, his record shows failed policies, broken promises, and declining trust in leadership. It is disappointing - and frankly unprofessional — for any elected official to personally attack a constituent and candidate instead of focusing on the real issues our city faces: public safety, jobs, infrastructure, and transparency in government. will not stoop to name-calling. I will continue to stand on my record of service and commitment to the people of Atlantic City. Our residents deserve respect, solutions, and leadership - not insults. It's time for change, said Ron Bailey.
