6 arrested in Atlantic City, NJ, including fugitive from Philadelphia
Six people, including a fugitive from Philadelphia, have been arrested in the World's Play Ground.
The Atlantic City Police Department says their officers targeted "areas of concern" throughout the city.
During the operation, officers arrested five men on a variety of charges related to illegal narcotics.
In total, 70 bags of heroin, more than three grams of cocaine, and 51 Xanax prescription pills were taken off of the streets.
In addition, one man was arrested who was wanted for charges originating with the Philadelphia Police Department.
ARRESTED: Raekwon Flemings, 28, of Philadelphia
CHARGES: Fugitive from justice
Flemings was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
These people were taken into custody and then released on a summons with a future court date:
ARRESTED: Bryan Knight, 39, of Brigantine
CHARGES: Possession of CDS
ARRESTED: Raymond Knight, Jr., 40, of Egg Harbor Township
CHARGES: Possession of CDS, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone, and possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone
ARRESTED: Luis Santiago, 33, of Atlantic City
CHARGES: Possession of CDS, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a public zone, and loitering to distribute CDS
ARRESTED: A 17-year-old male from Atlantic City
CHARGES: Possession of CDS, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone, and loitering to distribute CDS
ARRESTED: A 16-year-old male from Atlantic City
CHARGES: Possession of CDS, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone, and loitering to distribute CDS
