2 Arrested Following 3-month-long Drug Investigation in Northfield, NJ
Police in Northfield say two people were arrested following a three-month-long narcotics investigation.
Their work was centered around a house on the 400 block of Fairbanks Avenue, "after learning that the occupants were distributing LSD and Psilocybin mushrooms."
On Wednesday, a search warrant was executed by the New Jersey State Police, Northfield Police Department, and a K-9 unit from the Stafford Township Police Department.
As a result, 21-year-old Daniel G. Harvey of Northfield and 20-year-old Alma Janson of Somers Point were arrested.
Police say the search warrant resulted in the seizure of the following:
- Fully loaded 9mm, P80 privately manufactured firearm ("ghost gun")
- Fully loaded 9mm Baretta firearm
- Fully loaded 50-round magazine drum
- Hollow point ammunition
- 10 ounces of Psilocybin mushrooms
- 10 grams of LSD
- Over $10,000 cash
- Money counter, scales, and drug paraphernalia.
Harvey and Janson were charged with numerous weapons and CDS offenses and are being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
