The SchwarBurger is coming to Citizens Bank Park for the postseason
When you think ballpark food, typically hot dogs, a burger, cheesesteak, chicken fingers and fries come to mind. But the for the playoffs, the Phillies are stepping up their game.
They are adding the SchwarBurger, which is a little more complex than typical ballpark fare.
The gargantuan burger is more than a burger, it includes, an onion ring on top of a bun, two massive onion rings on top of bacon, cherry pepper relish, cooper sharp American cheese, a1/2 lb burger patty on top of smoked BBQ brisket.
The price for his massive burger? $23.12
Schwarber has a couple of food items that are named after him, including the Schwarbomb drink from WaWa, which is a mango and dragon fruit-flavored drink, with energy and ingredients that is designed to help boost your immunity.
WaWa and Schwarber also teamed up for 'Schwarberfest' last postseason, after Schwarber hit a titanic blast that traveled 488-feet.
The ballpark also features a couple of South Jersey eateries that you will be familiar with if you go to a Phillies playoff game this season.
Manco & Manco is serving pizzas and Green and Grains has healthy options for fans.
The Phillies open the National League Wild Card round of the playoffs on Tuesday against a still to be determined opponent.
