Iron Hill Brewery closes all locations including Maple Shade
The popular Iron Hill Brewery announced on Thursday morning that it'll be closing all of its locations effective immediately, which includes two South Jersey spots in Voorhees and Maple Shade.
South Jersey Locations Impacted
The Maple Shade location, at 124 E Kings Hwy Route 41, closed on Thursday.
The Voorhees location at 13107 Town Center Blvd closed back on Sept 10, with workers receiving a text message that they no longer had jobs. On that day, Iron Hill also closed its flagship location in Newark, DE, and a third spot in Chestnut Hill, PA.
According to reports, those three locations closed as "part of the company’s ongoing efforts to adapt to a changing business landscape while focusing on strengthening its long-term growth and success."
Official Statement from Iron Hill Brewery
Sharing the news via its Social Media pages, this favorite stated that it has been their pleasure to serve you, and we are deeply grateful for your support, friendship and loyalty over the years."
Will Iron Hill Return?
They did, however, keep the door open for a return at some point in the future.
"We sincerely hope to return in the future, and when we do, we promise to welcome to with open arms."
Recently, the Brewery & Restaurant expanded its midday offerings with the launch of Iron LunchBox, which was a new weekday lunch program featuring all-new handhelds, customizable pairings, and a value-driven price point.
The program was available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m
They had also been promoting their Oktoberfest, which was supposed to be this Saturday, Sept 27 at all PA, NJ, DE & SC locations from noon to 4 p.m.
Iron Hill was founded in Newark, DE, in 1996 by Kevin Finn, Mark Edelson, and Kevin Davies, and became one of the most successful craft brewery concepts with 19 locations in DE, NJ, PA, SC, and GA.
I have visited the Iron Hill Brewery in Rehoboth Beach, DE, at 19815 Coastal Hwy, and had a good experience.
