You may have noticed a new Tavern coming to the former Favorites Off-Track Betting location in Gloucester Township at 1300 Blackwood-Clementon Road in Blackwood.

From OTB to The Flying Pig Tavern

Before it was Favorites Off-Track Betting, people would remember the location as The Stone Grill. Favorites Off-Track Betting, which opened back in 2014, closed its doors back in 2024 with the building sitting vacant - until now.

Well, we have good news, it's about to open!

The new Flying Pig Tavern & Tap is opening at that location, featuring an outdoor bar, patio, and a large indoor dining area.

A Massive Menu and Regional Footprint

It's a familiar name, with four locations, two in New Jersey and two in Pennsylvania.

  • New Jersey (Bordentown and Riverside)
  • Pennsylvania (Bethlehem and Limerick)

They are known for their vast menu, which offers a wide selection of sandwiches, burgers, wings, pizza, soups, salads, Mexican street tacos, large plates for dinner, and cold beers, including a wide selection of craft beers.

Grand Opening Details & Live Music

They will be opening on Thursday, June 11, with live music from The Quixote Project starting at 6 p.m.

The new “Parlor Room” will be a premier spot for any event, with seating up to 115, providing a welcoming and private space for any special occasion.

Hours of Operation

They will open five nights a week til 11 pm and on Friday and Saturday til 1 a.m.

  • Sunday 11:00am – 11:00pm
  • Monday 11:00am – 11:00pm

Remember These Places That Use To Be In Sea Isle City, New Jersey

Thanks in part to the Ash Wednesday Storm of 1962 and Hurricane Sandy in 2012, Sea Isle City has seen many changes over the years. Whether you grew up in South Jersey or vacationed multiple summers in Sea Isle City, you may remember some of these buildings and businesses that no longer exist. Which ones below do you remember most? (Special Thank you to the Sea Isle Historical Museum for helping me get these pictures and information)
