Eagles Stadium Ranks Among Worst Gameday Experiences in the NFL
Since opening in 2003, Lincoln Financial Field has been one of the biggest home-field advantages in the NFL, with opposing teams and their fans never looking forward to playing the Eagles in Philadelphia.
A recent study revealed that Eagles fans are among the loudest, rowdiest, and most passionate in the NFL. The only fan bases in the league that are considered "louder" are the Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks.
But with the rising costs for everything in the United States over the last decade, we can't blame Inflation for everything. But the lack of concern for blue-collar Eagles fans and their bank account has led "The Linc" to make a very dubious list for the 2025 NFL season.
Lincoln Financial Field ranked one of the worst for gameday experiences
A new study released by SiGMA Play researched the costs of tickets, food, and parking at each NFL stadium, along with Reddit threads and Yelp reviews to create a scoring system that ranks the best and worst NFL Gameday experiences.
According to a press release from the SiGMA Play research team rated Lincoln Financial Field as the third-worst gameday experience in the NFL. Eagles home games have the highest average Total Gameday Cost in the NFL with one beer, one ticket, and parking costing $310.50.
Lincoln Financial Field has the second-most-expensive parking in the NFL, only an average of $8 less than SoFi Stadium. Also, the average beer at The Linc is only $0.50 less than Levi Stadium, the home to the most expensive NFL gameday beer prices.
The "good news" is that despite the wildly expensive costs to attend a game, Lincoln Financial Field has one of the best Yelp Ratings in the NFL. With a 3.7 score, only 12 NFL stadiums have a better Yelp score; the best is Lambeau Field with a 4.8 rating.
